About us

It all started with a love for animals and a dream. A dream I would never have imagined would come to fruition, that is, until I met my mentor Jo Jones at the Patches & Pointed cat show in Napier, in September 202. A meeting that I know now, was meant to be. Jo took me under her wing and helped open doors that I know would have been extremely tough without her support and there started my journey to Kailukicoons. I am a sole parent of two children and I also run my own small beauty therapy business. This allows me to spend a good chunk of my time at home, meaning my cats get all the attention and socialization they need. My cats are raised in my home, with the children and my husky. We are a boutique cattery, meaning we keep minimal cats, to ensure they get quality care and attention they deserve, as well as keeping risk of diseases and infection to a minimum. We pride ourselves in keeping and producing top quality, true-to-type Maine Coons and strive to attend shows and obtain ribbons to reflect the hard work and endless hours we put into them.
